Recent National Weather Service-aligned forecasts project a Denver overnight low near 60°F on September 3 under mostly clear skies and light winds, favoring radiational cooling at the city's 5,280-foot elevation. This aligns with the market's tight spread between sub-54°F and 72°F+ outcomes, as models show modest uncertainty from subtle moisture advection or variable cloud cover that could alter the minimum by several degrees. Historical September 3 averages near 54°F provide context, yet the current high-pressure regime supports warmer-than-normal readings without incoming cold fronts. Traders weigh these short-range model runs against climatological baselines ahead of final observations.
