Flávio Bolsonaro holds a commanding position in Espírito Santo first-round trading due to consistent state-level polling showing him ahead or statistically tied with Lula, often at 35-37% versus 30-34% in recent Quaest and Real Time Big Data surveys. The state has backed opposition candidates in the past four presidential contests, aligning with elevated federal government disapproval ratings near 53-55% among capixaba voters. Fragmented support for alternatives such as Renan Santos, Romeu Zema, Ronaldo Caiado, and Augusto Cury keeps their shares in single digits, while Flávio benefits from the Bolsonaro family legacy and Liberal Party mobilization. A late surge by undecided voters or shifts in turnout patterns could narrow the gap, though current evidence points to limited room for other contenders to overtake him before October 4.
