Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate Miami will see mostly sunny morning conditions giving way to scattered showers and thunderstorms by afternoon on August 30, with east-southeast winds around 5–10 mph and high humidity supporting heat indices near 106°F. This typical late-summer convective pattern—driven by sea-breeze convergence and ample moisture—tends to cap maximum temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s by enhancing cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Historical averages near 90°F and recent model consensus align with the market’s emphasis on the 90–91°F bin, while lower probabilities for 92°F+ reflect the strong likelihood of storm interference limiting peak heating.
