Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models point to Miami highs in the lower 90s on September 3 amid the peak of the rainy season, with an 70-80% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms that typically suppress peak readings through cloud cover and evaporative cooling. This aligns with climatological norms near 90°F for early September while highlighting how steering patterns and moisture from the Atlantic favor convective activity over clear-sky heating. Trader emphasis on the 90-91°F bin reflects model consensus on modest intensification potential before widespread storms develop, with limited upside risk from drier air or stronger subsidence unlikely in the current pattern. Updated NHC and local briefings ahead of the date will refine these implied probabilities.
