The resolution source for this market measures prices to the third decimal place. Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.**Trader sentiment for the September 2026 average retail price of a dozen Grade A large eggs clusters tightly around the $2.10–$2.30 range, with the $2.20–$2.30 bin holding a slim edge at 33.5% implied probability.** Abundant supply from flock rebuilding after 2025 HPAI losses continues to weigh on prices, as wholesale benchmarks have fallen to roughly 35–65 cents per dozen amid minimal new outbreaks and expanded layer inventories. Recent BLS data show the national average easing to $2.19 in July before rising modestly to $2.27 in August, reflecting slower pass-through from low wholesale levels and steady consumer demand. Feed, fuel, and labor costs remain elevated relative to current margins, limiting further downside while supporting a narrow trading range. With September data still pending and no major supply shocks evident, the closely matched top bins underscore uncertainty over the precise monthly average amid ongoing oversupply dynamics.
