National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance indicate a high near 91°F in Houston on September 10, with mostly sunny morning conditions giving way to a 50-60% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. This setup favors 90-91°F as the leading outcome at 49.5% implied probability, as scattered convection and increased cloud cover typically cap daytime peaks in the low 90s during late summer. Recent days have featured highs of 93-97°F under clearer skies, but the incoming moisture and steering pattern support slightly cooler readings. Historical September 10 averages near 90°F provide context, while heat index values remain elevated due to humidity. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon observations will offer the next key data points for traders.
