PAN leads trader consensus for second place in Mexico’s June 2027 Chamber of Deputies election because it remains the strongest organized opposition force, governing four states and holding the largest non-Morena bloc in recent congressional results. PRI trails as its national support has eroded further amid internal divisions and limited state-level presence. PVEM, while competitive in raw seat projections, operates inside the Morena-led alliance and is therefore unlikely to register as an independent second-place finisher. Recent polling averages through July 2026 show PAN consistently ahead of PRI and MC in voting intention, with no major realignments or scandals altering opposition hierarchies in the past month. Traders appear to price the structural continuity of PAN as the default challenger should Morena retain its majority.
