Recent polling averages place the Parti Libéral du Québec at roughly 22-24% support ahead of the October 5 election, translating into seat projections clustered around 31 with ranges extending from the mid-20s to the mid-30s depending on vote efficiency and regional swings. Traders have priced the 28-31 seat band highest because the party’s strength remains concentrated in Montreal-area ridings while competition from the leading Parti Québécois and a declining Coalition Avenir Québec creates numerous tight three-way contests that can shift outcomes with small turnout or preference changes. Late-campaign debates and modest Liberal rebound in recent surveys have kept the range narrow, with limited scope for large upward or downward moves absent a major polling shift or regional surprise before election day.
