Incumbent Democrat Lucy McBath seeks a fourth term in Georgia's 6th congressional district, a suburban Atlanta seat with a D+25 partisan lean that has delivered her double-digit victories in prior cycles. Primary voters on both sides will select nominees on May 19, with McBath facing no Democratic opposition and Republicans fielding only lower-profile challengers. Nonpartisan ratings classify the general election as safely Democratic, reflecting the district's demographic shifts and consistent voter patterns. Trader consensus at 92.5 percent for Democrats incorporates the incumbent's established fundraising and name recognition, while a narrow 5.5 percent Republican share accounts for the possibility of an unusually strong GOP nominee or late redistricting adjustments before November 3.
