Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological sources indicate Beijing will experience mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions on September 23, 2026, with southerly winds sustaining above-normal warmth before a frontal system arrives. Official guidance and ensemble models converge on daily maximums of 30–32°C, driven by clear skies maximizing insolation and minimal cloud cover or precipitation through midday. This setup aligns with the market’s leading outcomes at 31–33°C, reflecting trader assessment of model consensus ahead of Thursday’s expected cooling and showers. Historical September highs average near 26°C, underscoring the current anomaly tied to persistent high pressure. Updated model runs and China Meteorological Administration briefings on September 22–23 will provide the next key data points for resolution.
