Recent numerical weather prediction models from the China Meteorological Administration and international ensembles indicate a daytime maximum near 30°C for Beijing on September 22, driven by southerly flow, light winds under 5 m/s, and partly cloudy skies that moderate solar heating. This aligns with late-September climatology, where highs typically range 25–29°C, though persistent warmth has kept readings slightly above average. The market's strong weighting toward 30°C and 31°C (combined ~78%) reflects trader consensus on forecast stability, with limited spread among runs and minimal risk of significant model shifts before resolution. Updated guidance from the National Meteorological Center over the next 48 hours will be the key catalyst for any odds movement.
