Official National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble guidance point to a San Francisco high near 68°F on September 22, reflecting a modest warming trend as subtropical ridging builds and compresses the marine layer. Persistent onshore southwest flow and residual cloud cover from the recent low are expected to limit daytime heating along the immediate coast, keeping readings below inland values while preventing stronger warming. Model consensus remains tight around the mid-to-upper 60s, with limited spread in guidance supporting the market’s concentration on the 66–71°F bins. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will provide the next key data points before resolution.
