Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for coastal Los Angeles on September 22 shows morning low clouds or patchy fog clearing to mostly sunny skies, with southwest winds of 5–15 mph supporting afternoon highs centered in the mid to upper 70s. This places the daily maximum near the 74–77 °F bins that dominate market pricing, with the narrow 2-point spread reflecting lingering uncertainty over exact peak timing and marine-layer dissipation. Typical September onshore flow and the moderating influence of the Pacific keep temperatures below the stronger warming seen farther inland, while small differences in model timing of clearing or wind strength can shift the high by a degree or two. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon observations tomorrow will resolve the outcome.
