**Trader consensus on the Austin temperature market centers on 96-99°F for September 22, driven by National Weather Service and numerical model guidance projecting highs in the upper 90s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with light northeast winds and only slight afternoon thunderstorm chances.** Recent observations show a stable hot pattern with daily maxima of 96-99°F amid above-normal temperatures for late September, supported by southerly flow and limited moisture. Minor forecast spreads arise from potential variations in cloud cover, dew points, and brief convective activity that could cap or slightly boost the peak reading. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours remain the key inputs likely to shift market-implied odds before resolution.
