Thailand's Constitutional Court continues procedural review of an Ombudsman petition challenging the February 8, 2026, general election ballots over barcodes and QR codes potentially compromising voter secrecy, but traders price "No" invalidation at 92.5% amid evidentiary hurdles and historical patterns favoring party dissolutions over full poll annulments. On April 30, the court ordered witnesses and agencies, including the Election Commission, to submit statements within 15 days following expert reviews ordered April 22, with the EC's April 17 defense asserting untraceability. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's coalition government, confirmed March 19, maintains stability in the House of Representatives, reducing disruption incentives. A ruling could emerge before the June 30 market deadline, but high procedural bars and lack of proven impact sustain trader confidence in resolution without election voiding.
