Persistent high pressure over the southern Plains and southerly flow are sustaining above-average heat across North Texas, with National Weather Service and private model consensus pointing to a Dallas high near 99–100 °F on September 14 under mostly clear skies and 5–15 mph winds. This setup has produced consecutive 99–101 °F readings since September 12, elevating the market-implied odds for the 98–101 °F bins while keeping lower and higher thresholds at single-digit probabilities. The climatological normal high of roughly 90 °F and an all-time September 14 record of 102 °F frame the current forecast as notably warm but within recent precedent; afternoon model updates and any late-day wind or cloud changes remain the main variables that could shift final observed maximums.
