Recent forecasts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and international models indicate hot, humid conditions for Karachi around August 22, with daytime maxima centered near 31–32°C amid ongoing monsoon influences. The Arabian Sea’s sea breeze and high humidity typically cap extreme heating, while scattered showers or cloud cover—consistent with PMD outlooks for normal-to-above-normal August rainfall—further moderate peak temperatures. Historical August averages hover around 32°C, with recent years showing limited deviation unless a strong monsoon low or clear-sky heatwave develops. Current model consensus supports 32°C as the most probable highest reading, reflected in the 53.5% implied probability, while the narrower spread toward 31–33°C captures typical forecast uncertainty and steering-pattern variability this late in the season.
