Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble models indicate a high near 79°F for Los Angeles on September 6, driven by persistent onshore flow and marine layer influence that promotes cloud cover and caps daytime warming. A 40-50% chance of showers, linked to moisture from distant tropical systems, further supports moderate readings in the upper 70s to low 80s, consistent with early-September climatology. Recent days have featured highs of 76-78°F at coastal stations under similar patterns, with minimal deviation expected absent major forecast shifts. Traders have priced 78-79°F as the modal outcome based on these verified model runs and observed sea-breeze effects.
