**Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Miami on September 21 points to a humid, unstable airmass with partly sunny skies giving way to scattered afternoon thunderstorms, which is the primary driver capping the daily high.** Official forecasts consistently indicate highs in the upper 80s (roughly 84–88°F), with convection and cloud cover limiting peak solar heating and preventing stronger warming. This aligns with climatological norms for late September in South Florida, where typical maxima hover near 86–87°F amid frequent seabreeze-driven storms. Trader consensus heavily favors the 86–87°F bin (44.5% implied probability) over slightly cooler or warmer ranges because ensemble runs show limited model spread around this outcome, with only modest upside potential if storms develop later than expected. No major forecast shifts have occurred in the past 24–48 hours, keeping probabilities stable ahead of the next model updates.
