Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Miami International Airport indicate overnight lows in the mid-70s on September 21, driven by high dew points near 74°F, widespread cloud cover from scattered thunderstorms, and light variable winds that restrict radiational cooling. Persistent moisture from the Atlantic and typical late-September subtropical pattern sustain minimum temperatures near the 1991–2020 climatological average of 76–77°F. Market-implied odds favoring 74–77°F ranges reflect tight consensus across GFS and ECMWF runs, with small divergences in afternoon convection timing or boundary-layer mixing as the main variables that could shift the recorded low by 1–2°F. Official hourly observations through midnight will resolve the market, with any unexpected clearing potentially allowing brief dips toward 72–73°F.
