Recent formalization of candidacies ahead of the October 4, 2026, vote has sharpened competition for the two Roraima Senate seats, with Teresa Surita (MDB) and incumbent Chico Rodrigues (PSB) emerging as leading contenders alongside Nicoletti and others in a crowded field of over a dozen registered names. Party conventions and the August 15 registration deadline locked in bids without delivering fresh statewide polling to clarify voter preferences, sustaining tight implied probabilities near the top. Fragmented support across established figures and newer entrants, combined with the absence of decisive momentum shifts, keeps separation limited while leaving room for late endorsements, regional turnout patterns, or alliance adjustments to reorder standings before election day.
