Official National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 2, 2026, call for a high near 89°F under mostly sunny skies with south-southeast winds of 10-15 mph and only slight afternoon thunderstorm chances, directly supporting the market's leading 88-89°F outcome at 64.5% implied probability. This aligns with model consensus projecting afternoon peaks in the upper 80s amid stable high pressure and above-average September conditions, where the long-term average high sits near 84°F. Afternoon observations tracking toward 87-90°F ranges have reinforced trader positioning, while lower-probability bins reflect uncertainty around exact peak readings at the official station and minor forecast adjustments before evening cooling.
