Forecast models from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and private providers indicate a highest temperature of 17–18°C for Helsinki on September 9, driven by persistent southwesterly flow advecting mild maritime air while extensive cloud cover and scattered rain suppress peak heating. Historical averages near 16.6°C and recent days with highs around 17°C support this narrow range, with minimal model spread across runs. Traders have priced 18°C as the modal outcome at 50% implied probability because official observations at Helsinki-Vantaa or Kaisaniemi will resolve the market once the 24-hour maximum is recorded, and any last-minute clearing could push readings marginally higher without exceeding 19°C under current guidance.
