Traders assign the highest implied probability (46.5%) to a 33°C maximum in Lucknow on September 18, driven by India Meteorological Department forecasts of 33–35°C under partly cloudy skies with thunderstorm chances that limit afternoon heating. Recent observations show daytime highs near 34°C amid elevated humidity and light westerly winds, consistent with September climatology where averages hover around 33°C. Model consensus and ongoing monsoon moisture favor outcomes clustered at 32–34°C, while the low odds (under 5%) for 35°C or higher reflect limited potential for clear-sky intensification before resolution. Updated IMD briefings and satellite data on cloud cover remain key near-term catalysts.
