Morena maintains a commanding lead in national polling for the June 2027 Chamber of Deputies election, consistently capturing 38–45 percent support in recent surveys while opposition parties such as PAN and PRI trail well behind. This positioning stems from the party’s 2024 victories that delivered majorities in both chambers of Congress and most governorships, combined with President Claudia Sheinbaum’s sustained high approval ratings and the ruling coalition’s organizational advantages ahead of the midterms. Internal preparations, including candidate vetting processes, further reinforce Morena’s structural edge. Traders price the outcome accordingly, viewing the fragmented opposition and limited recent shifts in voter intention as significant barriers to an upset. Scheduled contests for 17 governorships alongside the legislative vote add another layer of visibility for the party’s territorial strength.
