Chang Chia-chun holds an 83.5% implied probability in the Yunlin County Magistrate race due to her March 2026 nomination by the Kuomintang as its candidate for the November 28, 2026, local elections. This selection by the KMT Central Standing Committee, highlighted for advancing female leadership within the party, leverages the county’s recent KMT governance record and established grassroots networks. Legislator Liu Chien-kuo, associated with the Democratic Progressive Party, trades at 7.5% amid minimal reported DPP nomination activity or polling momentum to date. Traders price in these early party alignments and incumbency patterns while monitoring the official campaign start in November and any late entries that could alter the field before voting.
