Alvarez follows at 30.5% amid his power surge (40 home runs, .597 SLG) and strong on-base numbers, though his profile carries more variance in pure average over the final stretch. Otto Lopez and Freddie Freeman trail further back amid lower volume or inconsistent recent output. With the regular season winding down, late-September plate appearances, health, and schedule strength will determine whether Arraez’s consistency or Alvarez’s hot streak ultimately prevails in the batting average race.
