Recent forecasts from Chinese meteorological sources and international models (including ECMWF and GFS runs) indicate a mostly cloudy to overcast day on September 19 in Wuhan, with highs centered near 28–29°C under light northerly winds and minimal precipitation. Persistent cloud cover following mid-week rains limits daytime heating compared to clearer conditions, while surface humidity near 65–70% and dew points around 20–22°C further moderate peak temperatures. Historical September averages place daily highs near 28–30°C, providing context for the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 27–30°C. Minor differences across model ensembles—driven by exact timing of any breaks in cloudiness—sustain the balanced probabilities, with updates from the China Meteorological Administration expected to refine the outcome before resolution.
