Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models project clear skies and light easterly winds over Atlanta through September 17, supporting radiational cooling overnight with lows most likely in the mid-to-upper 60s°F. This setup aligns with typical early-fall conditions under persistent high pressure, where minimal cloud cover and calm winds enhance surface heat loss after daytime highs near 90°F. The closely matched market probabilities for 66-67°F, 68-69°F, and 70-71°F reflect modest model spread in exact minimum timing and any subtle variations in dew points or boundary-layer mixing. Historical September averages near 65°F provide context, but recent stable patterns limit downside risk below 64°F while capping upside potential above 72°F absent unexpected moisture or wind shifts.
