Trader sentiment for Chengdu's September 11 maximum temperature shows tight clustering around 24–26°C because ensemble forecasts indicate genuine uncertainty from variable monsoon moisture and cloud cover. Recent model runs highlight potential for scattered afternoon convection that could cap highs near 25°C or allow brief clearing to push readings to 26–27°C, while a weak frontal boundary may keep values at 24°C. Historical September baselines in the Sichuan basin average 26–28°C, but current steering patterns and soil moisture anomalies increase day-to-day variability. Traders are monitoring the next China Meteorological Administration and ECMWF updates for refined boundary-layer and precipitation probabilities ahead of the short forecast horizon.
