Latest National Weather Service guidance and model consensus project a Tuesday high near 94°F for Dallas under mostly sunny skies, with northeast winds of 5–10 mph limiting mixing and allowing strong daytime insolation. Dew points in the upper 60s support heat indices near 99°F but do not substantially cap maximum temperatures. The close market split between 92–93°F (36%) and 94–95°F (33.5%) reflects small uncertainties in afternoon cloud cover, boundary-layer mixing, and exact steering flow strength; historical September 22 averages near 88°F underscore how current ridging and lack of frontal passage keep readings well above normal. Updated model runs and NWS briefings in the next 48 hours will refine the precise peak.
