Current forecasts from NOAA and major models indicate Atlanta's overnight low on September 3, 2026, will likely settle in the mid-70s°F under clear to partly cloudy skies, light southeast winds, and elevated dew points near 65–70°F that limit radiational cooling. This aligns with a persistent warm subtropical air mass and recent multi-day highs in the mid-90s that have kept minimum temperatures elevated above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 68.8°F for the date. Trader consensus, reflected in the closely bunched market-implied odds across 70–86°F bins, highlights uncertainty in short-term model runs regarding any late-day mixing or subtle frontal influences that could shave a few degrees. Updated NWS guidance and evening model cycles will provide the next key data points before resolution.
