Recent forecasts from sources including the China Meteorological Administration and international models point to a minimum temperature near 24°C on September 10 in Guangzhou, driven by northerly winds advecting slightly cooler air and overnight cloud cover with scattered showers that limit radiative cooling. This aligns with the market-implied 24°C outcome at 23% while supporting elevated odds on 19°C or below (39.5%) amid model spread and historical precedent of rare dips to 19.4°C. Average September 10 lows hover around 24.6°C, but current steering patterns and 65–70% storm probabilities introduce downside uncertainty that traders are weighting heavily ahead of final observational data.
