Current forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and models such as yr.no project a September 2 minimum in Helsinki near 12–14°C under partly cloudy skies, light northwest winds, and minimal overnight cooling, aligning closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 11.5°C. Trader sentiment shows nearly equal implied probabilities for outcomes clustered around 13–14°C versus a tail risk of 6°C or below, reflecting model spread on boundary-layer mixing and potential for clearer, calmer conditions that could enhance radiative cooling. Official observations from Helsinki stations will resolve the market once the calendar day ends, with any late forecast revisions from updated runs likely to shift positioning most.
