Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs show subtropical ridging dominating the region, sustaining high humidity and light easterly flow with no significant cold-air advection ahead of September 14. Overnight lows are projected in the upper 70s°F under partly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorm activity, consistent with climatological September minima near Miami. This pattern supports market-implied odds favoring the 69°F-or-below bucket at 49.5 percent only if unexpected model shifts introduce stronger northerly flow or heavier nocturnal cooling; otherwise, the clustering around 76–81°F buckets aligns with the consensus forecast range of 78°F. Traders appear to be weighting residual uncertainty in short-range guidance and potential convective outflows that could briefly lower surface readings. Updated model runs and National Hurricane Center discussions through the weekend will provide the next key data points for refining these probabilities.
