**Persistent late-summer heat and high pressure dominate the forecast for Dallas on September 6, 2026, keeping overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s.** Official National Weather Service guidance and multiple model runs project a minimum temperature near 78–83 °F under mostly clear skies, light southerly winds, and dew points in the low-to-mid 70s. This setup limits radiational cooling while warm, humid air advection from the Gulf prevents sharper drops. Recent observations through early September show no meaningful cool-air intrusions or frontal passages; highs have consistently reached the mid-90s to near 100 °F with overnight lows holding in the mid-to-upper 70s. Climatologically, early-September minima average around 74 °F, but the current pattern sits well above normal, aligning with the market’s heaviest trading on the 80–81 °F bin (39 % implied probability) and nearby 78–79 °F and 76–77 °F outcomes. With the resolution window only 48 hours away and no significant forecast shifts expected before then, traders are pricing the most likely range consistent with NWS point forecasts and ensemble consensus rather than outlier cooler scenarios.
