Sweden Democrats maintain a firm lead over the Moderate Party in recent polling for the September 2026 parliamentary election, with support holding near 20% while Moderates sit around 17%. This positioning reflects sustained voter priorities on immigration, crime, and integration that have boosted SD since the 2022 vote, alongside stable bloc dynamics in which the Tidö-supported government trails the Red-Green opposition. Social Democrats remain well ahead at roughly 33%, leaving little room for other parties to challenge second place. Traders view the gap between SD and Moderates as durable absent major late-campaign shifts, with SD also showing stronger certainty among its supporters in official surveys. The election timeline leaves limited scope for reversal before advance voting begins later this month.
