President Donald Trump sat for a wide-ranging interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier on May 15 during his Beijing summit with Xi Jinping, addressing the ongoing Iran conflict, U.S. tariffs on Chinese vehicles, a major Boeing aircraft deal, and domestic manufacturing priorities. Baier pressed Trump on whether he underestimated Iran’s resilience and the timeline for ending hostilities, while Trump defended prior military actions and reiterated positions on trade policy. The exchange also revisited earlier remarks on economic considerations during negotiations, with Trump standing by his comments without alteration. As a high-profile sit-down ahead of further diplomatic engagements, the interview’s content on foreign policy, tariffs, and bilateral relations with China shaped immediate trader focus on specific statements likely to emerge.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump says the listed term during the specified appearance. Otherwise, the market will resolve to "No".
If clips of old interviews or prerecorded videos are aired where Trump is speaking, those clips will count toward this market's resolution.
Plural and possessive forms of the listed term will count toward the resolution of this market regardless of context; however, other forms will NOT count.
Instances where the term is used in a compound word will count regardless of context (e.g., joyful is not a compound word for "joy," however, "killjoy" is a compounding of the words "kill" and "joy").
