This market will resolve according to the candidate who receives the most valid votes from Ramsey County in the Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate from Minnesota, which is scheduled to be held on August 11, 2026. The named candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. If two or more candidates are tied on valid votes, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the candidates' last names. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If the Ramsey County results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Minnesota including the Minnesota Secretary of State and the government of Ramsey County.Peggy Flanagan holds a commanding position in the August 11 Democratic primary for Minnesota’s open U.S. Senate seat due to her DFL party endorsement, backing from retiring Sen. Tina Smith, and consistent polling leads of 7–9 points over Rep. Angie Craig. Recent head-to-head debates and heavy outside spending—tens of millions from moderate-aligned groups—have highlighted ideological contrasts on immigration, healthcare, and corporate ties, yet Flanagan’s favorability edge and statewide organization have kept her favored in urban strongholds like Ramsey County. Craig’s electability arguments and fundraising have narrowed gaps in some surveys but failed to close the overall deficit ahead of voting. The market’s high implied probability for Flanagan reflects this late-stage consolidation among Democratic primary voters.
