Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois and Quebec Liberal Party in a statistical tie for popular vote support near 30 percent each, yet the PQ maintains a clear edge in seat projections due to stronger francophone backing outside Montreal and superior vote efficiency across ridings. The Coalition Avenir Québec has posted modest gains to around 16-18 percent following Christine Fréchette's April leadership transition, though it remains distant from contention. With the election scheduled by October 5, trader pricing assigns the PQ an implied probability above 58 percent for the most seats, underscoring its structural advantages while highlighting the uncertainty from a fragmented electorate and potential late shifts in turnout or regional dynamics.
