Recent opinion polls ahead of Sweden’s September 2026 parliamentary election show Centre Party (C) support ranging from 6.6% to 7.3%, narrowly ahead of or level with Miljöpartiet (MP) figures of 6.3% to 7.2% in surveys from Demoskop, Novus, and Indikator Opinion conducted in June through early August. This modest and fluctuating gap between the two smaller parties has produced a trader consensus favoring C to finish with the higher vote share. Broader bloc dynamics, with the red-green opposition holding a polling lead over the Tidö government parties, have not materially altered the direct C-MP comparison. No major policy announcements, leadership shifts, or scandals specific to either party have emerged in the past month to shift the relative standing. The market pricing therefore reflects the latest available polling averages rather than any decisive turning point.
