The Baja California Sur gubernatorial race for 2027 remains highly fragmented, with no candidate exceeding low-to-mid 40s in recent polling and multiple Morena figures clustered near the top. Internal party surveys show Christian Agúndez Gómez leading Morena preferences, while Milena Quiroga Romero and others trail within the same coalition; opposition contenders trail further behind. Traders price the field tightly because the contest hinges on coalition negotiations, primary outcomes, and turnout among key regional blocs ahead of the vote, with limited differentiation in name recognition or policy positioning so far. Late-breaking endorsements or shifts in state-level party alliances could quickly widen gaps before the official nomination window closes.
