Paul St-Pierre Plamondon of the Parti Québécois maintains an 85% implied probability in the market due to the party's consistent lead in recent polling averages around 28-29% voter support ahead of the October 5, 2026, provincial election. The PQ has held this edge through the campaign's early weeks, bolstered by emphasis on sovereignty timelines, health system reforms, and infrastructure pledges such as an eastern Montreal REM extension. Incumbent Coalition Avenir Québec Premier Christine Fréchette trails at 6.2% amid softening favorability ratings and a party share near 22%, while Liberal leader Charles Milliard and others register lower single-digit odds reflecting fragmented opposition and limited momentum shifts in the final stretch.
