Raphael Glucksmann leads trader pricing for the Socialist Party’s 2027 presidential nominee after announcing his candidacy in late August and entering the closed primary scheduled for 9–10 and 16–17 October. The MEP and Place Publique co-president secured broad endorsements from nearly 300 Socialist elected officials and regional leaders, while general-election polling positions him as the strongest center-left contender against far-right frontrunners. Socialist Party first secretary Olivier Faure’s late entry added competition, yet Glucksmann retains an edge among party members and sympathizers eligible to vote. Lower-priced figures such as Faure, Ségolène Royal, and Jérôme Guedj remain in the field but trail in both endorsements and national surveys. The outcome hinges on first-round turnout and any second-round dynamics among the five confirmed candidates.
