Lula holds a leading position in trader consensus for first place in Amazonas during the October 2026 first round, reflecting his status as incumbent Workers’ Party candidate seeking a fourth term amid national polling advantages. Flávio Bolsonaro, endorsed by his ineligible father as the primary right-wing challenger for the Liberal Party, trails but draws consolidated opposition support in the northern state. Regional factors such as Amazon policy priorities, economic pressures on informal workers, and fuel subsidies influence local voter blocs, keeping the contest competitive. Multiple lower-polling candidates including Ronaldo Caiado and Renan Santos fragment the field further. Upcoming campaign events, state-level alliances, and any shifts in federal economic measures could alter momentum before voting.
