Official National Weather Service observations confirm a maximum temperature of 89°F at Atlanta on September 9, 2026, recorded at 3:05 p.m. local time under partly cloudy skies with light easterly winds and no significant precipitation. This aligns precisely with the market's dominant 88-89°F outcome at near-100% implied probability, reflecting traders' reliance on the authoritative Peachtree City climate summary released shortly after the observation period. Historical September averages near 85°F and recent regional warmth provide context, but the verified daily high drives the near-certainty. Revisions to the official record, discrepancies between airport stations, or unusual measurement adjustments remain the primary low-probability scenarios that could shift resolution.
