Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to a Seattle high temperature on September 22 most likely in the mid-to-upper 60s°F, reflecting persistent marine influence, increasing cloud cover, and light southwesterly flow that limits daytime heating. Forecasts from multiple sources cluster between 62–69°F, with some runs showing potential for 67°F under partly sunny breaks while others cap the peak near 63°F amid morning showers. This range underpins the market’s tight clustering around the 66–69°F outcomes, where trader consensus incorporates model spread and historical September variability around a 66°F baseline. Final NWS updates and morning observations on the 22nd will resolve remaining uncertainty in peak timing and cloud trends.
