Recent ensemble forecasts from agencies including the Met Office and ECMWF consensus place Amsterdam’s September 18 maximum near 18–19 °C under a west-to-southwest flow with moderate cloud cover and limited insolation. These conditions align with the market’s dominant 70 % implied probability for 19 °C and secondary 22.5 % weighting for 18 °C, reflecting the narrow range typical for late-September maritime air masses. Historical averages for the date hover around 18.9 °C, and no significant model runs have shifted the outlook in the past 48 hours. Traders are therefore pricing in high confidence that the observed high will fall within this two-degree band, with only small probabilities assigned to outliers driven by unexpected clearing or stronger advection.
