This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the King Abdulaziz International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 3 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=oejn If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast models for September 3, 2026, in Jeddah cluster tightly around daily maximums of 36–39°C, producing the balanced market probabilities across 37°C, 38°C, and 39°C+.** Jeddah’s Red Sea coastal setting drives much of the uncertainty: persistent northwest winds and sea breezes often cap afternoon heating, while high humidity (typically 40–60% at peak) and variable cloud cover can shift the exact high by 1–2°C. Recent model runs from sources such as WeatherBug and PredictWind show highs near 37–38°C (roughly 99–100°F) under partly cloudy skies with light winds, consistent with early-September climatology where mean daily maxima sit around 36–37°C. No significant synoptic features—such as stronger onshore flow or increased cloudiness—are currently indicated to push temperatures notably higher or lower. With resolution just two days away, traders are weighting the narrow spread in official and ensemble guidance, where small revisions in timing or marine-layer influence could easily differentiate 37°C from 38°C or 39°C+ outcomes.
