Recent ensemble forecasts from major models highlight strengthening high-pressure conditions over northern Italy, promoting clear skies, light winds, and enhanced daytime solar heating for Milan on September 19. This setup, with daytime maxima projected in the 26–28°C range across multiple sources and well above the seasonal average near 23°C, underpins trader emphasis on the 29°C-or-higher outcome at 50% implied probability. Model consensus remains tight on minimal precipitation risk, though minor spread in steering patterns and boundary-layer moisture could shift the peak by 1–2°C. Updated runs from ECMWF and national services in the next 24–48 hours will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
